Annual trip to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving on the Ohio Turnpike. No snow in northern Ohio, but still a lot of standing corn. I was surprised.

There is also a lot of corn still out here in Northwest Missouri. It's not only the weather, I think, some farmers are still hoping for a rally and then there are storage and transportation issues as well.

There is still some corn standing in the fields here because it is not dry enough and would cut down on this year's meager profit if it has to be dried.

Around here it is also a wet soil issue. No bottom on some of these fields now until when they freeze up.

I still have about 8 acres out but the elevator is full and so are my corn cribs.

Our bins are full at the feed mill and as Nora stated the drying costs will eat up any profit. A lot of standing corn in upstate N.Y.
