Santa
Posted by Neil A at 2014-11-21 22:44:22
Nov. 15 I used my Percheron and Shire to deliver Santa downtown on Main street. Had a police escourt thru the red light, blue lights thank goodness no sirens. Had wreaths on the collars and bells tied to the hames. Gave wagon rides thru town in the people hauler. All the city folks had a good time the children all wanted a horse, I told them to go ask Santa for one ,I got some crazy looks from the moms. You can look up Tate County Democrat in Mississippi that is our local paper they took lots of pictures.

Great job, some people say the risk is not worth the rewards, but I disagree.

Any time you can make a child smile and thier eyes sparkle it's worth it

Very cool! I'm so glad that there are still a few people and places that still do this.

I'm sure you made alot of people, especially children, happy. You gave them a wonderful memory.

Hard to believe Christmas rides are starting already. Nice to hear there are a few of us still doing them. Had a chance to do a funeral Friday. That was a first for us. Happy to say, all went well. Family of the deceased were very appreciative.

I hauled Santa Claus through town to the Firehall today, then let 300 little kids pet my 3 and 4 year old horses.
Maybe a brave thing?

Wes, those kids will help take away the boogers.

Wes that 3 year old filly has ice in her veins. She is a good minded filly. I would drive her most anywhere. Nice, nice horse. Wish she was mine.
