pioneer forecarts
Posted by Kirsten(upstate NY) at 2014-11-21 16:52:36
We build our own forecarts but I purchased a Pioneer today real cheap. I had to replace the shafts and put wheels on it. Are Pioneer the best? What about the shafts on these older units with the single tree up on the top of the crossbar? It gives a poor angle of draft. Should I have my husband make a bracket down lower for the singletree? Any other thought are welcomed. Thanks.

I added a bracket at the bottom where the shafts attach to the forecart for the single tree. I did not like the angle of the draft when using a work harness. I see Pioneer did the same thing on the new model. If you would like, I can send you a picture.
