Farm Question 11/14/2014
Posted by Jerry Hicks at 2014-11-14 06:10:46
Which end of a cow gets up first; does a horse get up the same way?

Today marks the end of the book on animal husbandry and Monday's question will begin the book on soils.

A cow's hind end gets up first. A horse does NOT get up the same way, they get up front end first.

Soils.....another good topic to look forward to!

Cow is rear first. Horse front first. I grew up on a horse ranch with a milk cow. When I was little I would try to ride the cow and expecting her to get up like a horse and I'd go over her head. LOL. Caught on and finally stayed on her.

Rear end first; no.
