Winter position with draft horses, working on equipment
Posted by Naomi at 2014-11-14 00:35:48
Young woman from Canada here, wondering if anyone in continental US (or Canada) could use an extra set of hands for a couple of months this winter. Have done several apprenticeships on farms (commercial vegetable, orchard, mixed homestead), spent time around horses (mostly riding, just enough driving to want to do more), happiest when working hard and learning. Working towards operating my own farm in the future and have lined up a position at a horse-powered vegetable farm for late March, but would love to dive in during the winter! If there's room for a keen learner or apprentice in the woods, in your welding shop fixing up equipment, mending harness, or doing whatever else needs doing come January I'd love to hear from you.

Hi Nathan, sorry to have missed your calls today. I will try you tomorrow morning (so midday for you), as I'm in Pacific time and am busy from noon til evening again tomorrow. Or, if you'd rather, try me anytime between 10am and 2pm Eastern time. Talk soon!
