Topka Sale

Just back from the Topka horse sale. Tack on tu, high. Percheron prises were strong. $1800.00 to 2500.00 for horses called a little loud or short, stringie, 15 to 17 years old. Real nice team of dapple grays about 16.2 went for $5000.00 each. Good turn out of horse numbers.

I was there tue and wed thought they had larger numbers of machinery and horses, prices a little softer than spring, but it is that time of the year. and the larger number of horses helped that.

Thanks for the update. I wanted to make it up for the Percherons, but couldn't get away. Any chance you saw the cataloged 14 yo Windermere's Blackout mare sell? If so, was she a nice mare and did you catch how much she sold for? THANKS!

ed I have her down as open I think the said she lost her foal on oct 4th, they called her green broke and she brought 2000$ I thought it was plenty considering, but she was a nice mare.
