Just wondering if I'm the only one or is everyone else getting all sorts of pop up windows opening when visiting this site? It's pretty annoying.

What kind of pop ups? We have made no changes to the site here that I know of.

I have the ad dropper virus on my other computer. Maybe that is what you have.

When I first come to the site I get all sorts of offers asking me to play games and answer a poll on gun control. then when I click on any of the posts I get other windows opening that tell me to download software to back up my computer and things like that.
A the top of the man page right now is and add for Samsung's newest products, but it keeps changing, And at the bottom of this post is an add for Brainbend online games.

Jerry, none of those are from our site. There must be something else going on. Do you get popups from other sites, too? Or is it just ours?

Well, I think I have found and fixed the problem on my end. It seems I had a bit of malware on my computer called Gosavenow. Some how it monitors sites one goes to and allows pop up adds to market through that site. I found instructions to remove it and it seems to have worked. Not sure where it came from but it is interesting I suppose that it deemed this site as the one I most use and only used it to market to me!

I had them start two weeks ago lucky I have a neighbor who is into computers for work. He took my tower and found a virus tool bar had taken over my internet explorer fix in about 30 min. Look at your programs and you will see new add ons.

That's when mine started as well W. Pat Mc. I was able to go to uninstall programs, find it and uninstall it. Then go to the tools section of Firefox and remove those extensions. I had to do the same for Explorer as well to be sure it didn't come back. As you said, took about 30 minutes to take care of everything.

I have found a great way to avoid all them nasty viruses!!! Get rid of Microsoft, started using Ubuntu os and have not had any problems in over a year. It is a little different to use then windows but not hard to figure out. There is lots of helpful info out there, Oh yea the price is great because it is free.
