Sodbuster Days, Fort Ransom, ND
Posted by Lori S. at 2014-09-09 21:48:42
I just attended Sodbuster Days in Fort Ransom, ND, with my Haflinger team of Nevada and Chance. It was a first time for us. I pulled the people mover each day. Sunday we tried our skills at disking and raking hay. We raked the whole field. Not too bad for beginners. Proud of my boys. They proved we can play with the big boys as we are 14.1 hands as compared to the 19+ hand Percheron team stalled next to us. I had a great time. A lot of work but so rewarding.

Here are a few photos. Enjoy.

What a nice team of Haflingers, you can be proud of them. The disk is quite sizable that you pulled. It's amazing what the "little " guys can do, isn't it?
