What is shoe leather made from?
Response by KM at 2014-08-15 09:06:08
I am guessing that in 1935 it was calf or horse leather with the soles coming from the back of and older animal usually a bull. Today you can pick any leather or material.

Today? Plastic!

The tanned hides of cattle.

If you were a wealthy person, perhaps Alligator and Ostrich.
