What is a rodeo?
Response by Kate V(Va) at 2014-08-13 09:22:25
Taking a few days trying to get a heifer to accept her newborn calf.

Gathering up the cows and horses because someone left the gate open.

Rounding up the hogs when they get out and scatter around the yard.

yeah.....I know....that's not the answer in the book. ;)

A rodeo is an event/competition featuring "classes/events" which highlight various skills needed to work livestock on a ranch/farm/range. Such as roping and bronc riding.

*Rodeo* is from the Spanish *rodear,* or circle, gather. But, obviously, you all knew that already!
