Thanks for lots of great reading, everyone. Hoping Dris may enlighten us about his moving to Oklahoma. Hang on to your hat my friend, I'm not sure if the wind ever quits out there.

I will. This is a large undertaking for Melissa and I. We are very excited about expanding our offerings to the Heavy Horse Industry. Our dear friend and equipment guru John Day is heading there with us. Stay tuned for more details. Thank you so much for your interest.

Looking forward to it. I would love see what you build up in Oklahoma! Best part is Oklahoma is much closer.

I liked the latest issue , but I am saying this about every issue. Taylor Johnson gives very good examples of how horses can be used in many meaningful ways.
The letter of Patience Boyd is a different story. There obviously will always be people who believe in the creation mythology and they have a right to voice their opinion. For fairness' sake the editor should try to get an evolutionary scientist to respond. The scientific understanding of "theory" goes far beyond the every day use of the word.
In a human life we cannot observe macro-evolution, but the evolution of shorter lived organisms can be seen annually.
I missed the information about Dris moving to Oklahoma, but welcome it, because that would be much nearer than Indiana and I could finally visit.

For fairness sake, I ran Patience's letter because it offered a view shared by many of our readers who took issue with a sentiment presented in a story in the previous issue. I am not compelled to continue the creationism/evolution debate. People believe what they believe and I am not interested in fostering an exhaustive discussion on the topic. As I mentioned, for my part, I do not find the two topics to be mutually exclusive.

We are hoping to finalize plans for farm in the Lawton area. We will also have a demonstration farm to teach from in the Oklahoma City area also with our good friend and partner in Heavy Horse Equipment, Gerry Shepherd. More details soon.
