Haying with draft horses.

Where would a person go to watch haying with draft horse using a overshot stacker?

Grant-Kohrs Ranch in Montana. It is part of the National Park Service. There was a very good video out on their operation, about an hour of nothing but haying with beaver slides, buck rakes, overshots. Check with Uncle Joe--it may still be available.

Horse Drawn Loose Haying is a really great video done by Video Mike Kerson but it does not have an overshot. As Dale mentioned in the other thread with the same topic, they usually use a beaver slide and were using one when Mike shot his video. Its a really great show but does not have an overshot.

Mel Klein might be able to chime in and help as I think there has been an overshot featured in one or more of the Northern Minnesota Draft Horse Association field day DVDs.

Daryl Woolstenhulme of Montpelier Idaho has and overshot stacker that he uses. He puts up hay with spotted drafts and has a small harness shop.

Check with Grant Kohrs - they was a guy doing some video this year when they were putting up hay.
