Dris,
On today's RFD TV show about haying there was a quick view of a guy disking with 2 horses. The disk was a 2 gang and looked like it had tires that could be lifted with hydraulics. Did you build that disk or does someone manufacture it new? Can 2 horses work it all day long?

That was an experiment in 2012 and it has evolved into a better disk today. Tonight I will send some pics of our new version. Three would be best.

We have redesigned this to come with a tongue truck for safe transport from field to field. More details/photos to come later.

I sure like the safety and comfort of riding on that platform. It looks like the 4 abreast is the way to go.

Thanks Wes. By the way,I have a black horse standing in my stallion barn this spring! Standing for a customer of mine. Big chested fellow 17.2 big motor.

Black horse in your barn. What's the world coming to?

Wes, it takes some of that black blood to give them ambition. To bad that many of "teamsters" today can't handle much ambition and fire.
I remember Mel Anderson saying "get a shire and get some fire". I prefer ambition to fire. And someone else can have the deadheads.

Well he is gone Amish guy bought him from my customers I was standing him for. Plenty of get up and go here from the red horses!

We all need to remember there is more difference within a breed than between breeds. Dris has his choice going good for him and they should work well for most people. I happened to find some good blacks so that is my choice of breeds. The belgians that I started with weren't the best - needed their head overhauled, all of them out of that perticular stud. They made better dog food than horses to work as they couldn't stand time off.
