Here in southcentral Mo. we have had huge flocks of robbins stop in our yard to feed. This morning there was an other group feeding, what a wonderful sound while I was doing chores. Last week I have seen many big flocks of geese go north. Sat. they were so high and the clouds low that they were flying above the clouds part of the time. Had rain yesterday, my wifes flowers and the lawn grass is greening up. I know everyone is ready for spring!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here in WC Minnesota, we have about 2-3 months left until robbins and no snow.

Plenty of snow here. I love it. Wish winter would never end. Have to go now. My wife has a couple of guys in white coats that want me to try on a funny looking jacket.

Howdy
I live in central Mo. And I too had a flock of robbins in my yard Saturday but they stay around here a lot of times threw the winter down in the thick brush ( cedars ) I have been seeing a lot of geese also, Saturday they went on as far as I could see East to West. I am ready for spring and the time change on the 14th.

I write down what date I first see robins every year. This year it was this past Thursday (FEB 18) in Southeastern Indiana. I'm glad to hear someone else keeps track of that kind of stuff as well! No green grass yet, but the snow is almost gone.

Snow and rain most all day. Finally turned to just rain in the afternoon. They're saying more snow overnight. Don't believe there's been a week since 1st of Dec that it hasn't rained or snowed.
Saw about fifty robins in a field this afternoon hopping around between the rain drops.
Fallin way behind on my plowin. Tator plantin time comin up fast , but I expect they'd just rot as wet and cold as it is.

I've seen geese and robins here in NE Ohio, but i've got lots of snow and ice, with possibly 12 more inches coming overnight. It could be May before all these snow mountains are gone.
We had so much snow that I can't clean the barns or bring in hay unless I snowblow a path to the manure pile first. I like the snow, but it's getting tiresome to have to shovel out over and over just to do chores.
