Re. Round Bale Handling
G'Day everyone, there was a discussion a couple of weeks back ,on handling round bales.Since then I've found a couple of items that might be of interest.
The first is on the Hippotese blog site
http://hippotese.free.fr/blog/index.php this site is in french but I just click on the translate icon and it's good enough to work out whats going on. The video in question is from a couple of weeks ago so you'll have to scroll down a fair way.
On this website you can use a link to the Italian, Noi e il cavallo, the machinery section has the "rolls royce" of horse drawn round bale handlers, probably very expensive to buy, but it is a brilliant example of what a bit of imagination can achieve

Some where in Iowa there is guy that makes them, found his web thought I bookmarked it dident and now I cant find it again. will keep looking for it.
Here ya go KC - I've been looking at those for a while, too. Even considering their school - it sounds interesting, and not too far away from me.
It's down towards the bottom of the page - the tip-up bale mover:
http://www.nethtc.net/~bsmouw/equipmnet_inside.htm I saw them on craigslist a while back - I think he gets around $1000 for them.
Thanks for the link Bruce - neat site!
