Grimm Tedder question
Posted by Jason Rutledge at 2009-07-25 09:48:58
We found an old Grimm tedder that is PTO driven and I was wondering if they can be converted back to ground drive with the v-belt on the wheel?

I bet somebody on here knows about this piece of equipment. Thanks.

I have seen only one PTO Grimm tedder and as I remember it, you should be able to convert it back with new wheels etc.
I have a Grimm tedder (wheel drive),and know of of one more in Maine, if you need parts etc..

Jason, this might come in handy as Leader bought the Grimm company out. I think it is still good info. Leader Evaporator Company, INC - 49 Jonergin Drive, Swanton, VT 05488 (802) 868-5444. My understanding is they no longer make the tedders but still have parts.

Obviously I know nothing about this equipment, but after reading the post's title I did imagine some amusing visions concerning a black-robed figure making hay.
