Heartland Horseshoeing School is a small family run business. One of the best things about being a farrier is you can place family first and do things with each other that many people don't have time for. As a result, you will be seeing a lot of Cody and Jacquelyn.

Cody was born in 1991, and made his first shoe and trimmed his first pony at the age of four. He has competed in many farriery contests, including the novice division of the South African Farriers Association National Championships. Cody has also worked toward his Certification, and passed the shoe display portion at the age of 12. His main love is bullriding, and he has been the MHSRA Wrangler Champion Bullrider and Champion Heeler. Cody competes in bullriding, calf roping, team roping both ends, and chute-dogging.

Jacquelyn was born in 1993. She has also done her fair share of shoeing, but prefers being on top of a horse rather than under one. She has competed in several contests and has won the youth championships in Oklahoma several years ago. Jacquelyn's main goal in life is to compete at the national level in rodeo. She has been the MHSRA Wrangler Champion Header, and Reserve All Around Cowgirl. Her rodeo events include, barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, team roping both ends, and breakaway roping.

Cody and Jacquelyn are both sponsored by Farriers Formula, a product made by Life Data Labs, Inc., from Alabama, as well as Centaur Forge, Inc., a farrier supply store in Burlington, Wisconsin. They are also members of the Wrangler All-Star Rodeo Team.
