Heartland Horseshoeing School
Thank
you for expressing an interest in Heartland Horseshoeing School. At this fine
school you will learn the art of Farriery in as short a time as possible. The
staff at HHS takes an extreme amount of pride in the accomplishments of former
students who have learned to change their lives for the better.
Horseshoeing
is an art with a science backdrop, and one that requires practitioners to be
highly skilled and experienced. The horse has to live with the shoes that are
nailed on, and does not have a say in the matter. This is a huge responsibility
that rests on the shoulders of any person who wields a hammer with the intent of
shoeing horse. It is therefore extremely important that you become the absolute
best farrier that you possibly can.
When you are deciding on where to
attend school, be certain that you take all f the same precautions that you
would if you were going to hire an employee. You are in fact about to become an
employer. If you approach your quest for the right school in this manner, I am
sure you will be satisfied with the end result. Ask questions of the instructor,
the staff, former and current students, as well as any horseshoeing customers
that the school may cater to. This will give you an objective view of your new
potential employee, and you won't be hiring someone because they wear the nicest
clothes. You will end up hiring the person that is best suited to the job at
hand, and that job is to teach you to be a Farrier!
We would like to
extend warm welcome to come by and visit our school if you are able. Please call
in advance to be certain that we are in the shop, and not out shoeing the date
of your expected arrival. We are a small school, and will remain so. We do not
start new classes on every Monday, and we are not an never will be a diploma
mill with the sole purpose of separating you from your money in return for a
piece of paper. The education that you will receive at Heartland Horseshoeing
School is second to none. Rise to the challenge, and come become one of the
best.
Sincerely,
Chris Gregory, CJF.,
MS., FWCF. Owner/Head Instructor
